A Harvest Celebration with Superyard Farms at McAllister Ranch

Celebrate the joy of harvesting, cooking, and storytelling with crops grown at McAllister Ranch Urban Farm, with special demonstrations from the growers in the "Living History" Gardens! For the past year, Superyard Farms has been bringing the historic McAllister Ranch to life via the Flagstaff Sustainability Office urban farm incubator program. Come see the transformation, get a behind the scenes look at Flagstaff’s newest regenerative farm, learn to cook using the science of traditional methods like fermenting sauerkraut, crushing chiltepín, and preparing Kneel Down Bread, and enjoy multicultural music and dance on the our local farm right here on Historic Route 66.
When: Sunday October 4th, 2026 at 2pm; Farm Open House at 12:30pm
Why: Build community around local food and celebrate Superyard Farms’ first season turning McAllister Ranch into a thriving urban farm!
Where: McAllister Ranch Urban Farm, 3366 Historic Rte 66. Parking is limited at the farm, so please park next door at the Flagstaff Public Works Department. Also accessible by foot or bike via the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS) that bisects the farm!
