We want to grow more local food. Lucky for us, so does the City of Flagstaff.

As part of an exciting new undertaking with the Sustainability Office at the City of Flagstaff, Superyard Farms will be the urban farm incubator at the city-owned historic McAllister Ranch!

 

Once a homestead and cattle ranch owned by legendary peace and social justice advocate Frances McAllister, the site has been dormant for nearly three decades. Since 2024, we have been working with the Sustainability Office on the logistics, like changing zoning laws, working with City planners and community partners like NAU’s Sustainable Communities, and building soil to make this space into a thriving regenerative farm and community garden.
