Grow the Living History of Flagstaff!

Is there an edible plant that tells your story, whether personal, cultural, family, immigrant, indigenous, ancestral? Plants have cared for us, adapted to us, and migrated with us as our most vital companions. So why not get in touch with your "plancestors" and grow a crop in the Living History patch!

We have 6 (six) openings to grow a Living History crop in a raised metal Vego garden bed (about 6.5 x 3.5 foot) at our McAllister Ranch growing space during the 2026 growing season. Grow your crop, share your story, and enjoy the harvests at our end-of-season celebration in the Fall.
